[MP3] new White Rabbits: "Percussion Gun"

The other day we suggested that a song called “Fox Hunting” would be on White Rabbits‘ upcoming LP It’s Frighening. Apparently that assumption was incorrect, but luckily today we’ve got a real brand new song called “Percussion Gun.”

[MP3] White RabbitsPercussion Gun

On first listen I’m not quite floored by this track. While the percussion is interesting in a train-about-to-derail kind of way, the strain in singer Steve Patterson’s voice sounds too forced… forced in the kind of “painful struggle” way Staind and Creed songs are, which is a very, very bad thing. Hopefully this one will grow on me, and hopefully the rest of the album avoids this kind of overthetopness.

i think it’s catchy, albeit a massive giant poor man’s spoon. The vocals sound IDENTICAL

I know spoon dude produced it but WOW he basically joined teh band

i don’t think the vocals sound forced at all. just a bit reckless, which is more reflective of their live performances. and if you’ve ever seen them live, it’s sure as shit not forced. i can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

    1. white rabbits sound like creed
    2. white rabbits sound like spoon
    3. spoon sounds like creed

i enjoyed it, the piano does it for me with this band and not too much of it this track. overall good thou

good use of the transitive property, Ning, but i don’t think they sound like Creed. The vocals are just stretched, when they really don’t need to be.

It’s going to be REALLY boring to read every blog compare their new record to Spoon when it comes out.

i love it. i think the vocals sound much improved from their debut.
